How is this different from other AI room apps?

Most of them quietly redraw your photo into a generic render — they’ll add a window that isn’t there, erase a doorway, or move a wall to make the picture look good. We built the opposite. Structure Lock preserves your actual walls, windows, and doorways, so the redesign is of your room, not a stand-in. The before/after slider is there so you can check it yourself.

Does it really keep my room’s layout?

That’s the whole point of the app. It holds your room’s fixed structure — walls, windows, doors — and restyles what’s movable: furniture, color, materials, decor. It isn’t flawless on every photo, which is exactly why we put the before/after slider front and center so you can judge each result for yourself.

Is this a replacement for an interior designer or contractor?

Accepted Answer

No, and we won’t pretend otherwise. It’s a visualization tool to help you picture options and make decisions. It doesn’t measure your space, doesn’t do structural or electrical advice, and doesn’t guarantee anything will fit. For real renovation work, talk to a professional — bring the pictures along to explain what you want.

Can I plan a furniture purchase from it?

It’s great for testing a direction before you spend — a palette, a darker wall, a fuller layout. Treat it as a mood and a maybe, not a shopping list. Always check real dimensions and your own measurements before you buy.

Do I need any design skills?

Accepted Answer

None. Take a photo, pick a style, drag the slider. You can get more hands-on with the controls if you want, but the defaults are tuned to look restrained and livable rather than like chaotic AI art.

What happens to my photos?

They’re used to create your designs and nothing else. We don’t sell them, and we don’t use them to train models without your consent. A full, plain-English privacy policy ships before the app goes live.
