§ 01 · How it works

What it takes: three steps.

01

Give Rearview access to your location and to Motion & Fitness.

02

Choose how it records

After your first drive, it asks to record with the app closed. Say no, and you start each drive yourself.

03

Park

A drive ends by itself a few minutes after you park.

§ 02 · What you get

What it does, in detail.

Nothing to tap on the road

Rearview doesn’t need a touch while you drive.

No. 01

Share image

A route line, distance and time, with the day and part of the day. No street map. The first and last 300 m are cut by default, so home and work don’t show.

No. 02

Yours

No account needed. Drives are saved on your iPhone, and in your own iCloud when iCloud is on. They are never sent to our servers, and never sold or shared with insurers or employers.

No. 03

A personal log

Rearview keeps a personal log. It isn’t a certified mileage log, and it isn’t evidence for insurance, tax or legal use.
