By using Attic, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
What Attic is
Attic identifies physical objects from photographs and estimates what they may be worth, and lets you keep those items in a personal collection.
🔴 What our estimates are not
Attic is not an appraisal, and it is not an appraiser. Value estimates are generated by AI from a photograph. They are a starting point, not a valuation you should rely on for insurance, sale, tax, probate, or any other decision with money attached.
Condition, authenticity, provenance, and current demand often decide most of an item's value, and a photograph cannot establish any of them. Where the app can tell that a photo is not enough, it says so rather than producing a number. For anything you believe may be genuinely valuable, have it examined in person by a qualified appraiser.
We make no warranty that any estimate is accurate.
Your content
You keep ownership of the photos and information you put into Attic. By using the app you grant us a limited licence to process your photos through our AI provider for the sole purpose of identifying the item. We do not claim ownership of your content.
Acceptable use
Do not use Attic to misrepresent items to buyers, to launder provenance, or for anything unlawful. Do not attempt to abuse the free allowance through automation.
Availability
Attic is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law we are not liable for damages arising from your use of the app, including decisions made on the basis of an AI-generated estimate.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the revised terms.
